About the role

Ensure the effective day-to-day operation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Kiwa UK Quality Management System and all its component processes in compliance with the relevant International Standards and accreditation requirements

Support Business Units in the management and delivery of the technical quality requirements of the relevant International Standards

Undertake activities required to maintain current UKAS accreditations across the Kiwa UK group including taking a leading role in representing Kiwa in UKAS assessments

Undertake activities required to support Business Units in achieving extensions to the scope of their current UKAS accreditations including taking a leading role in representing Kiwa in those UKAS assessments

Work with Kiwa colleagues across Europe to support the delivery of UKCA services to their customers

Play a leading role in the implementation of quality systems, processes, and standards in new technical and Business areas, and improvements in current areas

Play a leading role in the promotion of a strong quality culture across the Kiwa UK group

Provide quality and accreditation advice, guidance, support, coaching and training, to Kiwa UK staff

Identify, evaluate, and communicate quality risks to the Head of Quality

Support the Head of Quality in achieving Kiwa UK group quality objectives

Support the Kiwa UK group in achieving its aspirations for growth

Do you have what it takes?

Experience in the management of UKAS accredited Quality Management Systems

A good working knowledge of ISO17025, ISO17065 or ISO17021 Standards

A demonstrable record of maintaining and extending scopes of accreditation, preferably across multiple sites or multiple technical disciplines

Experienced in conducting internal audits

Good working knowledge of typical IT tools (e.g. Microsoft Office products)

Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet objectives and deadline

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and presentations

A methodical, thorough, and flexible approach to delivering high quality work and improvements in order to meet customer requirements

An effective team worker with a solution focused approach

Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills including a proven ability to build relationships with, and the confidence of, staff, senior managers, customers, external assessors, and stakeholders, and to be able to influence at all levels

The ability to motivate, support, coach, and train staff in relation to quality and accreditation principles and activities

What can you expect from us in return?

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

£4,260 Car Allowance

25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

37.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri 

Home based role with travel to UK business units
